Dating After Detonation

A brutally honest, occasionally unhinged account of dating in your 30s. Divorce, ADHD, questionable life choices, healing, boundaries, motherhood and the spectacular chaos of figuring out who the hell you are after life falls apart.

If you’ve ever mistaken chaos for chemistry, apologised for existing, or wondered if you’re the problem…..

About

The Unfiltered Truth is my survival diary: A shift working single mum, powered by caffeine, sarcasm and questionable life choices. Capable of diagnosing a boiler feed pump issue at 3am, organising a kids obstacle course team by breakfast, and over analysing a mans text messages by lunch.

Appears chaotic, but is actually highly competent. Frequently found oscillating between industrial troubleshooting, fitness goals, legal strategy and wondering whether the universe is sending signs or just taking the piss.

Your posts feel like a late‑night debrief with my brutally honest best mate. Messy, hilarious, validating as hell. I finally don’t feel like the crazy one.

I come here after every disastrous date. It’s cheaper than therapy and twice as honest, with zero bullshit or fake empowerment slogans.

Finally, someone admitting co‑parenting, ADHD, and dating apps are a feral mix. I laugh, cry, screenshot lines, then send them to my group chat.
